The Practice of Holding a Cup of Tea
“Sometimes we are not truly present even when drinking tea. We think about the past, we worry about the future. But when we truly hold the cup of tea, we are holding the present moment in our hands.”
Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh often guided people to breathe in and out while holding a cup of tea, feeling the warmth, the fragrance, the beauty of that moment. It is a training to return to the here and now.

🌺 DAI HONG MAT – HERBAL TEA INFUSED WITH ROSE FRAGRANCE & HONEYED FLAVOR 🌺
🌸 Spring harvest is the season of exceptional Shantra teas — ancient Shan trees yielding brews that are fragrant, naturally sweet, and rich in flavor. These rare teas have captivated the hearts of tea lovers far and wide. Continuing the legacy of the celebrated Dai Hong Shan from the 2023 spring season, Shantra now introduces a refined new creation for Spring 2024: DAI HONG MAT 🌹
🌹 Dai Hong Mat is a meticulously crafted blend unique to Shantra Homefood, uniting ancient Shan Tuyet tea leaves from the highlands of Northwest Vietnam with fresh rose petals. The result is a tea liquor of radiant amber hue, carrying the gentle aroma of blooming flowers, the mellow sweetness of wild honey, and a subtle hint of creamy chocolate. Each shimmering drop of Dai Hong Mat radiates the vibrant energy of ancient tea trees and the healing essence of the mountains — a true gift of the Northwest's nature and spirit.
🌿 Especially gentle and versatile, Dai Hong Mat is suitable for all palates and all ages. A perfect gift for women, the elderly, children, and anyone who appreciates subtle refinement. This herbal tea not only soothes the mind and supports restful sleep, but also offers powerful anti-aging and beautifying properties — a daily ritual for wellness and grace.
How to brew hot:
Rinse the kettle with boiling water before brewing
Put an amount of tea from 5 – 10g into a 150ml pot
Boil water and cool to 80 – 90 degrees. Steep the tea for 30 seconds – 1.5 minutes depending on your preference for strong or light tea
Pour out all the water in the kettle. Steam the tea in the pot, let it rest for 1-2 minutes, then continue adding water. 1 kettle can make 8-10 times the amount of water
How to cold brew:
Add 5 – 10 grams of Bach Hong Shan black tea into 500 ml of pure water
Place in the refrigerator for 8 hours or 2 hours at normal temperature. You will have 500ml of delicious tea.
Cold brewing helps all the nutrients in the tea to be released, the tea has a sweet, tree-like aroma, and a sweet aftertaste
Storage: Dry place, avoid direct light
