Tea Meditation

In Plum Village and other practice centers, tea meditation is a formal practice.

“We sit together, in stillness and silence, and we drink tea. We don’t need to say anything. Just being fully present with each other is enough.”

Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh taught that sharing tea together, in mindfulness, builds true connection. Silence becomes rich and nourishing. Nothing needs to be added.

_____________

GREAT GREEN SHAN TEA (ĐẠI SHAN LỤC TRÀ) is a rare and special Vietnamese tea made from the tender young leaves of ancient tea trees that are hundreds of years old. After harvest, the leaves are carefully processed and dried. When steeped, Shan Green Tea retains the color and aroma of fresh tea leaves, often appearing light green or pale golden in hue. The taste offers a delicate bitterness and astringency, followed by a lingering, subtle sweetness that remains on the palate.

Rich in polyphenols and catechins, Shan Green Tea supports heart health and helps prevent cardiovascular diseases. Regular consumption may lower blood cholesterol, reduce the risk of stroke, and enhance brain function. It also supports healthy weight management and helps reduce the risk of diabetes.

To fully enjoy Shan Green Tea, it is best brewed in a clay teapot using spring water or filtered water. Porcelain or glass teapots can also be used, and the strength of the brew can be adjusted to personal taste.

🗻 Grown in the highlands of Northwest Vietnam, Shan Snow Green Tea is not only a precious health-promoting beverage but also a cultural treasure of the Vietnamese mountains.
Come and experience the pure, unique flavor of Vietnam’s mountain tea – Lục Trà Shan Tuyết. 🍵🏔️

Ingredient:
100% whole 1 bud 1 leaf from ancient Shan Tuyet tea tree Tay Con Linh Ha Giang. Manufactured by hand combined with modern Taiwanese technology.

Flavor: New rice scent. Sweet honey taste. Water color in shimmering honey yellow light.

Storage: Dry place, avoid direct light

How to brew hot:

* Avoid cleaning the kettle with boiling water before brewing.
* Put an amount of tea from 5-10g into a 150ml pot
* Boil water and cool to 80-90 degrees. Steep the tea for 1-3 minutes depending on your preference for strong or light tea.
* Pour out all the tea in the pot. Steam the tea in the pot, let it rest for 1-2 minutes, then continue adding water. 1 kettle can make 8-10 times the amount of water.

How to cold brew:
Add 5-10gr of Bashtea Green Tea to 500ml of pure water. Place in the refrigerator after 8 hours (or 2 hours at normal temperature). You will have 500ml of delicious tea. Cold brewing helps all the nutrients in the tea to be released, the tea has a sweet, grassy aroma, and a sweet aftertaste.
